Top note
The immediate impression is an enchanting, citrus-y note. Fresh, light and harmonious as lemon but delicate and pleasing like bergamot evoking the crystalline elegance of a cologne.
Middle note
Immediately conveyed by the olive flower, with its strangely attractive aromatic and aniseed notes. Pure, smooth and radiant, inextricably linked with Latin origins.
Base note
Its timeless charm, sophisticated and understated, lies in the new combination of two raw materials with notes of tobacco, fine leather and rare wood. The tonka bean, the ebony coloured fruit of an Amazonian tree reminiscent of cumarin and heliotrope, much loved by perfume creators, captivates with its deep, warm, soothing and lightly tobacco fragrance. This is combined with guaiacum wood, a wild tree from South America, nicknamed heart wood. With a slightly smoky, salty fragrance it is strangely suggestive of warm skin.
Please note, this fragrance has since been renamed to Armani Code for Men to bring it inline with Armani Code For Women but it is still the exact same fragrance as the original Armani Black Code.
