This has to be one of the hardest fragrances to review. It is a pleasant soft oriental fragrance with floral qualities – but it is not a fragrance that shouts about it. Overall it is pleasant and unassuming.
I think it will appeal to someone who likes to smell nice, but does not necessarily want to make a statement with the fragrance they wear. This makes it perfect for the office, or a formal function as it is unlikely to illicit any comment or reaction. Yes, of course you will smell nice, but it won't draw attention to you.
Whilst it could not be described as a definitive spring or summer fragrance, it is not heavy either so could easily be worn mid season.
First application gives you a sweet hit of spicy florals, I am unable to identify a specific flower, just a generic floral scent. The heart notes come through quite quickly but the floral notes do linger through nicely.
The dry-down is uncomplex and reveals musky and mossy base notes, but once again they come through with subtlety, it's a nicely balanced fragrance, even if it is a bit shy!
The sillage is not intense and its staying power is average.
Presented in a simplistic tall cylinder-shaped bottle, the brushed steel effect lid covers most of it, leaving just a glimpse of clear glass at the base.
This is a great fragrance to buy as a gift, especially if you are not certain what type of fragrance the recipient prefers, as it is both floral and spicy, well balanced and is highly unlikely to offend anyone.
