I thought this month I would review a men's fragrance because let's face it, these days men have as much to chose from as the ladies. And in case you're wondering, I thought it best to get my husband to splash this one on!
So what's this month's choice?
Armani - Black Code!
The box is simple... just the way men like things - uncomplicated yet stylish like a well-cut black tuxedo. The bottle is more of the same, or is it? You think it's just a plain black bottle but look, really look at it and you'll see there's more to it than that - a subtle hint of what's inside.
Billed by Armani as their first oriental fragrance for men, it follows the traditional oriental formula, opening with fresh and clean citrusy notes that after a while, settle into a warm spicy fragrance. I think it's a James Bond kind of scent - sophisticated & mysterious, almost ambiguous in a way since it's designed to be a men's fragrance and yet there is something more to this one. It leaves you wondering because it's not very hard / strong yet it is powerful in it's own very different way!
