Not one to let motherhood slow her down, Jennifer Lopez is set to release a new fragrance, her second in a matter of months. Earlier this year we had Sunkissed Glow and now we hear she's about to release My Glow, the sixth fragrance in her Glow collection (seventh if you count Glow Shimmer, a limited edition release of the original Glow).
Said to have been developed while she was pregnant in 2007/early 2008 (shows you how long it takes to get new fragrances to the market), My Glow was inspired by the relationship a mother has with her child. According to JLo, "every baby is an angel" and this is reflected in the perfume flacon itself which is topped with winged cherub.
Scheduled for release in the US in October as an EDT, My Glow is a floral combining notes of lavender flower, water lily and freesia with white rose, peony and Casablanca lily on a musky woody base.

The marketing machine that is Paris Hilton is once again going into overdrive as we get closer to the launch of her sixth women's fragrance called Siren which she started promoting last month at the US FiFi Awards where she won the Female Celebrity Fragrance of the Year award.
Despite the economic downturn and its effect on global perfume sales, Paris Hilton licensee Parlux remains confident in the selling power of celebrity, and who can blame them when the Paris Hilton fragrance franchise is said to be worth $200 million per year.
Her last fragrance, Fairy Dust, was fairy inspired and she seems to have kept with the cartoon theme for this latest fragrance which now takes its inspiration from mermaids. Siren, which is scheduled for release next month as an eau de parfum contains notes of mandarin, apricot and frangipani together with honeysuckle, coconut orchid and water lily on a woody vanilla and musk base. Expect to see pictures of Paris in her mermaid outfit in magazines from next month.

Now before you get too excited, that's Queen as in Latifah, not The Queen. The fragrance, simply called Queen, has been created in collaboration with Parlux Fragrances who seem to be on a little bit of a Hip Hop roll of late having previously signed up Jay-Z and mates Rihanna and Kanye West.
Described by Latifah as "warm and sexy", Queen opens with citrusy notes of bergamot and mandarin mixed with a shot of tequila followed by cognac (is this starting to sound like a cocktail?), coriander, rose and jasmine noir on a sandalwood, incense and vanilla musk base. Available as an eau de parfum, Queen is expected to hit shelves in the US this August with an international roll-out shortly afterwards.

Love him or hate him, there's no denying that Piers Morgan is game for a laugh. His little sideshow skits on Britain's Got Talent where he tries to display his various hidden 'talents' are perfect example of that. But could he have gone too far this time as he strips off to promote Burger King's latest offering – Flame, a meat-scented fragrance?
Now before you write this off as a fake or PR stunt, bear in mind that Flame is actually not new. I first heard about it in December when it was announced in the US. At the time I thought 'those crazy Americans - they'll try anything' but now I'll have to include anyone that genuinely wants to smell like they've spent the day working behind a hot griddle. According to BK, "Customers love the taste of our world-famous flame-grilled beef, so we've bottled a hint of it to help people enjoy its unique power as a scent of seduction." Seduced by a burger? Give me a break!

We've been seeing a lot of Reese Witherspoon on our TV screens recently as the face of Avon products. Now it looks like she's ready to move into the world of perfume as we hear news that she will be releasing her own perfume later this year.
The perfume will be called In Bloom and is a result of her continued collaboration with Avon who themselves are no strangers to perfume having already released over 30 different fragrances for men and women, including some designer branded products thanks to collaborations with fashion designers Emanuel Ungaro (U by Ungaro) and Christian Lacroix (Christian Lacroix Rouge).
This is not Avon's first foray into the world of celebrity endorsed fragrance either. They've already teamed up with US Major League baseball player Derek Jeter to release Driven as well as Grey's Anatomy hunk Patrick Dempsey for Unscripted. This will however be their first female celebrity perfume and the company is expecting big things for this floral-inspired fragrance which will include notes of peach, tea leaves, gardenia, magnolias and jasmine with a base of cashmere woods and amber. Expect to see it in your Avon catalogue from November.

It's been a while since the 2005 release of Hypnose, but Lancome is finally following it up with a new fragrance, Hypnose Senses, which is set to launch later this month with the help of a rather racy ad campaign.
Back again is model Daria Werbowy (she was the face of the original Hypnose) and this time we find her in a sun-drenched Parisian apartment in various stages of undress, what looks like naked for the print ads and wearing a skin-coloured dress for the TV ad. According to Lancome president Odile Roujol, it's not provocative but more 'Sunday morning'. Perhaps they don't want to fall foul of the US TV censors lest we forget the 'nipplegate' saga of Eva Mendes who revealed a hint of her unmentionables in Calvin Klein's Secret Obsession TV ad – the dirty girl – and subsequently had the advert banned.
Back to the fragrance itself, Senses is said to be more playful and optimistic, aimed at a younger audience and with a lower price point than the original Hypnose, ideal for today's women living in an economic downturn. A chypre fragrance, Senses contains notes of patchouli, rockrose labdanum, benzoin vanilla, tonka bean, osmanthus absolute, honey, pink peppercorns and mandarin essence and will be available as a 30ml, 50ml and 75ml eau de parfum.

Kate Moss' fragrance partner Coty must be happy. Although her first fragrance Kate wasn't a major hit, Velvet Hour did much better and now she's set to follow that with a new fragrance called Vintage.
Said to be inspired by her love of vintage fashion and all things old "except old men!" (supposedly her words) Vintage will take advantage of the current trend for fruity florientals. At this stage we don't know much more about the fragrance other than the fact that it scheduled for release this September. Keep an eye her new dedicated perfume website, www.katemossparfums.com, for more details as and when they are published.

Calvin Klein is set to release a new men's fragrance in the form of CK Free which, as the name suggests is intended to be a casual, free-spirited scent. Like Euphoria Man, and Calvin Klein Man before that, CK Free will be a woody fragrance this time with notes of anise, absinthe and juniper berry together with tobacco and coffee on a patchouli woody base.
The advertising for CK Free will be fronted by Irish-born model and aspiring actor Jamie Doran who's most notable onscreen appearance was in Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette staring Kirsten Dunst. Expect to see a lot more of Jamie, both literally and figuratively as he's also expected to appear in forthcoming adverts for Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear.
CK Free is scheduled for release in September and will be available as an Eau de toilette.
