Looks like Halle Berry is next in line to join the growing list of perfumed celebrities with news that her fragrance, Halle, will be launching in the US next week. Rumour has it that she was paid $3.5 million up-front in her deal with Coty.
According to a Coty spokesperson, Halle "adds another dimension to the celebrity fragrance market. Halle has always been a little more mysterious, not quite as open with her personal life as some other stars. Her fragrances will allow her to present another facet of her personality to her fans." The fragrance, said to be a woody oriental combines top notes of bergamot, fig and pear with a floral heart and a woody amber base and will be available as an eau de parfum. A global launch of her fragrance is expected this Spring.

It's been a busy time for Rafael Nadal what with winning the Australian open and now getting ready for the Davis Cup. Back in September last year he signed a deal with Inter Parfums to be the face of the next Lanvin fragrance which was scheduled for release this Summer. Now it seems that the fragrance, Lanvin L'Homme Sport, is scheduled for release this April instead.
Let's face it, with all of the exposure Rafael is currently getting, you can't blame Inter Parfums (who also do Burberry, Paul Smith and Christian Lacroix to name a few) for wanting to capitalise on his success. Lanvin haven't released anything since Arpege Pour Homme back in 2005 so I'm sure they were more than happy. Now if only we could find somebody that wants Andy Murray to endorse their fragrance.

Is Jennifer Aniston set to join the likes of J Lo and SJP and launch her own perfume? It seems the web is abuzz with rumours that she 'may' be in talks to secure a perfume deal. Of course this is all speculation and none of her representatives are willing to confirm or deny the rumour although it wouldn't come as a surprise if it were true.
Perhaps she can succeed where arch-nemesis, Angelina Jolie failed. Back in June last year rumours surfaced that Jolie was in talks with Coty to create her own line of products but nothing came of that. Let's see if Jennifer is a better businesswoman.

Well most of Monday's snow has melted (at least here in Surrey) but unfortunately it looks like we'll be feeling the pain for a few more days as Royal Mail confirms the disruption to their services.
We haven't seen any sign of Royal Mail for the last three days which is starting to cause a bit of a backlog so if you have ordered recently, please be patient. We're hoping things will be back to normal by the end of the week and will do our best to get your perfume to you as soon as possible.
